Some of our Timetracker users frequently ask for cost tracking features, as time tracking is naturally tied to budgeting and cost management.

That’s why we’re excited to announce a new integration — with the excellent Budgety for Jira app!

Budgety for Jira (Budget and cost tracker) by Desier is a powerful cost tracking solution designed to give you full control and visibility over your project budgets.

Budgety allows you to assign hourly rates to users, calculate issue costs based on worklogs, and generate budget reports — making it the perfect companion to Timetracker for teams that need financial insights alongside time data.

With this integration, you can now link your time tracking data directly to Budgety's cost tracking features, making it easier to:

• Monitor project spend in real time

• Compare actual vs. estimated costs

• Get detailed budget reports based on time logged 

How to integrate the apps and get Timetracker Billable worklog in Budgety Cost Reports

Only executable by Jira administrators.

1. Go to the three dots icon button on the top menu of Budgety and click on Get third-party app worklogs.

2. Then select Timetracker as worklogs source and just paste the token you have first created in Timetracker app. You can read more about creating Timetracker tokens in the documentation.

3. Finally, click Save. All costs based on worklogs will then refresh their units (time spent).

Remember that only billable worklogs will be taken into account.
